My name is Andrew Wong. I'm a second-year resident here at Michigan. So Michigan is one of the best things that's ever happened to me. It's a program that I never expected to come to. I had applied because somewhere I wanted to try out, I want to come to the Midwest the first time in my life and I found something that was completely unexpected, found a program with an awesome culture. Everyone here supports one another, everyone here looks out for one another, and we just have a really great tight-knit community. Some things that I particularly like about the program, I think that there are really great leaders and mentors to look up to. I found great mentors on the research side, on the clinical side. There are a lot of people that I look up to myself. I have co residents who I worked with on a daily basis, who are just so knowledgeable, so smart, so educated and so great at teaching that I found that learning from one another is one of the best things we do here at Michigan.
