The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
So when you enter the clinical trunk, you do your mandatory rotations as an M2. And so the mandatory rotations that we do include surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, internal medicine, family medicine, neurology and psychiatry. Surgery and internal medicine are both three months long. Obstetrics and gynecology, as well as pediatrics, are each six weeks long, And the neurology, family medicine and psychiatry are all one month long. So in total it becomes a 12-month process for you to go through the entire M2 year. And that is the year that really you get exposed to treating patients. You understand how the hospital works, you understand how to apply social determinants of health, and diversity, equity and inclusion training from your M1 year into the clinical space. So it's a really intense time but a very fulfilling time as you figure out what sort of specialty and pathway you are going to go down as a medical student as well.
