Getting Around: Walk to the Hospital with Christina at Michigan Med
The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
Hi, my name is Christina. I'm a third year medical student. I'm going to show you my walk to the hospital in the morning. I usually head out the front door. I live in the Kerrytown area. So it's pretty close to the medical school library. Sometimes if the weather's bad there's a parking structure right across the street that has a bridge that connects pretty much over to where the library is. So if the weather sucks, I'll walk across the street so I'm covered. But otherwise I'll just walk normally on the street. When you pass the stoplight, you'll see Angelo's. That's a breakfast place people like to go to. It's not open this early because I have to be at the hospital usually around like 5 or 5:30 And then once I walk up this hill, then I'm walking past the medical school um into double doors into the med sci building. And now from here, all the way to the team room that I meet at in the morning is inside, which is pretty nice because Michigan winters can be a little bit cold. I pass through the different hallways, pass through the lecture halls that we were in the first year of med school, anatomy lab. Since I typically have to get there so early, there's not a ton of people walking through the hallways. That's my commute usually.
