Hi guys, I'm Ruby. I'm a second year medical student. I live in the Nielsen condos. I've lived here since my first year, I get to live with three of my best friends, which is super fun. Nielsen condos are set up so you can get apartments for four people or for three roommates. The layout of the apartment is that you have kind of, you have a garage that you walk in, at at least the layout for our four-person, and then you come up a flight of stairs and then you're on kind of the main floor, which I'm on right now, that's where our kitchen is, two of the bedrooms, one of the bedrooms has a balcony, which is awesome. And then we have a living room that has this fake fireplace behind me and gets a lot of sunlight, which is really nice and then you can go up another flight of stairs and then we have two more bedrooms up there and a big closet and then we have some open space up there that we use for kind of in home workout space. So we have two bikes that we, that we use up there. Another reason that I love living here is because the location of Nielsen is in the white coat area and so a lot of medical students choose to live in this area because there's a lot of different housing options. Nielsen is one of those. Um so it makes it really easy to see a lot of your friends and specifically Nielsen has a pavilion area in the center of all of the apartments and so a lot of times on sunny days, people will be out there hanging out studying or grilling and it's really fun. We have very easy access to a lot of the trails around Ann Arbor um and specifically a lot of the trails that run along the river. Um So I spent a lot of mornings and afternoons running on those trails or biking, which is super nice to be able to access those just right outside my door. Another thing that's really nice about Nielsen um is that you're within walking distance of the hospital, so it takes about 10 minutes to get to the hospital, which is super convenient when you're running late in the morning, but those are a few reasons that I've chosen to live in Nielsen and yeah, it's been a, it's been a great place.
