The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
Hello, My name is Aishwarya. I am one of the current interns. Um I chose Michigan Medicine because even on my interview day, I really got the vibe that the residents really had a fun time with each other and they made an effort to kind of include the applicants even virtually. Um which I could just tell that, you know, the environment was a really great place to learn. Um and the faculty were also super engaged in educating during the morning report. Um and ultimately that's what led me here. I think by the end of intern year you do feel pretty competent in terms of managing your patients. And the seniors are really the ones who are kind of the leader of the team and obviously there's the attending. If you have any questions you need to fall back on them. But for the most part, the seniors are pretty confident in their skills, they know what they're doing. And I like that our program really prepares you for that. Residency is going to be hard, no matter where you do it. Intern year is going to be incredibly difficult, no matter how much you think you've prepared yourself to come in. So I think the number one thing is just finding the people where you really feel like you fit in with them. And I really felt that even on my virtual interview day here and I'm really happy here just because I have a lot of co residents who I know that I can fall back on and who are some of my closest friends. So um try to find that for you.
