My name's Jackson Point next year I'm a student at the House of College of Business at the University of Tennessee Knoxville studying supply chain management with a concentration of this analytics, I'm gonna show you the business building and tell you some of my favorite things about it. So when I came to college I really, really wanted to find a major that would land me the job where I'm working with people helping somebody. Uh you know, I didn't want more of where I've worked to kind of dictate where I lived or anything like that and I wanted to make some money. So supply chain is the most popular major at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. There's more students doing this than any other major. Uh we have a top five programs for undergraduate public schools. You think supply chain, I'll give you kind of run about what that is. I get a lot of people that you know what is supply chain mail, supply chain management, Just think amazon think ups, think any big manufacturing companies and so with supply chain, you can work in manufacturing, you can work in shipping, you can work in logistics, healthcare, human resources. You can, every single company really needs supply chain. I was really nervous coming in but you know your first two years, you're pretty much with every other business students, regardless of your major. So whether your Nikon accounting, finance, supply chain management, you're all gonna be in classes together. You get people from all over the country that come all over the world that you don't have classes with here when you're coming to college, here's some advice for you just from one student to another. It's going to be nerve wracking when you're making decisions about where we're going to go to college, but definitely work hard and find that place where you're really going to flourish and be yours in, grow to be yourself. I'm sure you guys are great kids and you're gonna fit in wherever you go. It's not about fitting in, it is about finding that place where you're going to grow and flourish and really be yourself.
