Yeah hi I'm Michelle arias, I am the first year student here at K. G. I. And the Doctor of Pharmacy program. I chose K. G. I. Because living here in Claremont area for most of my life and I have a family, you know, it's not easy to just get up and leave to go start a new life somewhere else based on the school. So I started looking at schools nearby my home and unfortunately enough for me, K. G. I. S within five minutes or less for for a commute for me. So what I did was I, you know, I stopped by for a visit day um I got to meet the people, the faculty and learned a lot more about the pharmacy program and I absolutely fell in love with kg. I mainly for some of the amazing things that they have to offer, such as the small class sizes, you know, I feel that's very important to get that one on one time with professors. Another cool thing that we have here at K. G. I is this collaborative approach for it, they put you into teams. So you're you're working alongside with your colleagues. That's a team that you work with for the whole four years that you're here. Why pharmacy? Um you know, my personality fits this field and I Started off as a pharmacy technician and have been for the past 10 years. So I want now to move up in the ladder to do more in my position, so to do that, you know, I have to get that Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
