So I'm going to talk a little bit about the application process for the M. S. G. D. A. Program. So for me in undergrad I knew I wanted to go to graduate school and I wanted to higher education and I knew that I wanted to do with genetics, I didn't really know what though. From my advisor I heard about KGs genetic counseling program. So when I was exploring the school I actually came across the M. S. G. D. A. Program from admissions and I attended the information session, got to meet our program director dR 14 E. For the first time. That really gave me a sense that there were other career options in genetics beyond genetic counseling. That working with data might actually be really cool. I still didn't know too much about it but I was intrigued so I decided to apply. I updated my statement of purpose for the application and submitted that and luckily I got an interview call and when I interviewed with different faculty that gives me a better sense of not just what the program was about but also what it would be like attending K. G. I. And the community that is fostered here. Please reach out and talk to someone talk to our program director to admissions. You can contact me and really get a sense of will this program be the right fit for me and his K. G. The right fit in terms of the community and people not just the classes but also will you be able to um find your best fit and be able to really thrive? And so that was something that I felt I could do here and so far I've been lucky to really find my place in graduate school and here at K. G. I..
