I am a singer in the College of Arts and Sciences setting english with a minor in french and I'm just going to be telling you really quick about one of my favorite classes so far. I watched you which was called The Business of Books. I actually took it less spring during um spring of 2021 and I just absolutely fell in love with the class as consumers. I don't think that we often think about the processes that go into forming a book marketing a book, different things like that, how books are made. Um And so this class really taught me those kids out, taught me things that I never knew. I really felt like I needed in order to read a book. I think that now every time that I do pick up a book which is definitely a lot considering I am an english major. Um I consider different things, especially about how like I said how about the book is marketed the ways that different books are distributed, how they stood up different ways in bookstores. Then on top of that we were able to speak with so many different people in the world of publishing um that you really don't consider. We talked to um different corporate lawyers, we talked to literary agents, so many literary agents, people that actually work in the field and I absolutely loved it specifically because of the real world, real world experiences as well.
