I'm in the Sand Fox School of Design and Visual Arts, majoring in communication design with minors in architecture, er and creative practices for social change. So Washington University in ST Louis is also known as wash You, which is what I will be referring Thio for. Probably the rest of this video flash you, as I mentioned it is in ST Louis, Missouri, and it has about 7000 undergraduate students. So it's pretty midsize school, which I really love, so to talk a little bit about my college application process. So I found out about Washoe first my junior spring, when my mom told me about it because she had heard so many great things from some family friends whose kids went there, and she told me that I just had to visit because it seemed like it would be a perfect place for me. I end up getting to visit in September of my senior year when my mom had a work trip there, so it just worked out perfectly. I, I was lucky enough to actually get a one on one tour where I was really able to ask a lot of questions and really get to know the campus and everything about wash you, uh, that I wanted to know, which was really cool. Of course, from this visit, I I just felt absolutely welcomed on campus, and everyone was so kind and really seemed to care so much about me being there, and I wasn't even a student yet on. I have absolutely felt that to this day, with the amount of support and resource is that there are three. Community is one of my absolute favorite things about watch you from that very first visit. People are just so, so amazing with so many different passions and interests and are so driven and curious but also really care so much about helping everyone around them succeed along with the amazing community at Wash u. I have absolutely loved the flexibility here, and that really is the biggest part. The most unique part of what drew me to wash you during my college process. One of my favorite facts about wash you is the fact that over 80% of students pursue multiple different areas of study. So whether this is a double major, a major and a minor major in two miners or any sort of combination that you could think of get super cool that tunes at Wash u are really able to pursue this multiple interest that they have, which is really great in a very unique experience here is well, while she was a school that really attract so many different types of students, which I love, and we have an extremely diverse student body and as a whole, there are a couple of words that I would say described the majority of washing student body, and that would be passionate, curious and collaborative. Really just describes the community here and again the amount of flexibility that we have here at wash U. So this is just kind of a basic introduction to wash you and some of the reasons that it attracted me and why I ended up choosing it as a whole. Other thing that's really cool about it is that at wash u You can really tell how much students love wash you and really, really care about it.
