So I know our causes might not reach our resonate with a majority of you guys, but I thought I should talk about it because this is my experience at the school. Basically, first years all like pre Rex for art students way have, like drawing observation visualization and then, like two t three d forty and so on. So the first semester, we don't have any lectures or like a class like that. This semester we have art history, which has lectured twice a week and then a discussion group once a week. So for that lecture, we have a professor who gives the lecture, and then we have professors who lead the discussion groups. So it's basically like, ah, whole group of professors kind of working together to create this curriculum. Um, so And then for my other classes, what we do is usually like we do projects and stuff. Then we'll have critiques where everyone gathers around and talks about each other's work and basically, like, gives advice. Um, so those air really great, because you get to hear it from students like your age and kind of just with a different perspective, which I really like s o first year. As I said, it's all like pre Rex, so it can get tiresome and boring and feel like the bottom. Next year I get to choose basically like whatever studios I want. Then but also this year I got to choose whatever academics I wanted. So I got to choose like a political science class, which I was really interested in. Then I also got to take a first year film seminar, which I'm in right now where we're doing or we're working with sixteen millimeter film, which is amazing. Yes, I'm going to show you a couple of classrooms. Then in another video, I'll talk about more active classrooms and lecture. Itjust got renovated and built, and then we have our own lecture hall, which is actually located in the musical theater building. It's pretty big, and so this is our forty lecture. Our history lecture is also in here, and then the next video is going to be my drawing class. There's a lot of light coming in from the big windows and a lot of white space to hang up our work. In our stamps classes we usually work on a bunch of different projects. Um, which basically, we give advice to each other and tell them what's good and what's bad. And then in stamps. This is one of my favorite things at the art school does for us. So it's a great opportunity to hear from, um, artists like in their careers and how they became who they are. Um, so this is just a look at what happens before the lecture. It starts at five ten and ends around like six thirty every Thursday.
