Aloha my name is Julie Patao from the wonderful island of Maui. I'm a distance learning student that graduated from MHRM in 2009. So my current role is here at University of Hawaii Maui College as the assistant professor of cooperative education as well as our career link director. So I help students with finding their future jobs. So one of the things I feel it's important of why I decided to come back to school is to say that I didn't really have enough time to do the master's program right after getting my master's degree. So being able to return back to school it was a great opportunity. More importantly I didn't have to move or relocate to Honolulu. I did it all through distance. Committing Wednesday nights and Saturday all days, It was a great time for me to meet and connect with my fellow classmates. So one of the most important things I feel that you will get out of this program is the valuable relationships you build with your colleagues in the program as well as the alumni network. So one of the things I feel is that getting the MHRM Degree allowed me to build networks within our community and with friends that have the same understanding of valuing human resources. So I like to think of it as when one succeeds all succeeds and we can all benefit our community with this degree program. So join MHRM. Thanks, Aloha.
