The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
Hi everyone, my name is Sheron and I am a senior at UH Manoa. I major in TIM, which is also known as the Travel Industry Management, with an emphasis in hospitality. UH Manoa is a beautiful campus, with many resources available to their students, such as many extracurricular activities to choose from, like our RIO's, which are registered independent organizations that are student led or major department run. They also have intramural sports that are organized throughout the semesters, with tournaments with prizes, and so many more opportunities provided for students to find long lasting friends and memories. They also have many great facilities such as our Warrior Recreation Center, which is a gym for all students to take advantage of. They have many classes available throughout the year and great quality equipment, space, and courts. The best thing is it's included in our tuition. So any UH Manoa students are welcome to participate in any and everything they have to offer. At UH Manoa we also have a very wide range of food selections all over campus. One of the main places to get food is from campus center, which offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. They also have a salad bar and sushi options. Throughout the campus, there's also other places to eat, such as Hemingway Hall, which has Ba-Le, which is a Vietnamese and asian fusion food bar. They also have an alcohol bar, where students and faculty can relax with a drink. There's also a lot of food trucks scattered around the campus that usually have a schedule every week where students can get some ethnic and imaginative foods, and smoothies from Da Spot. They also have delicious Korean food from Sistah food truck. They also have fresh ahi bowls from Ono Seafood, and so much more. The TIM school and the Shidler College of Business merged together last year. However, TIM School is still a separate and an individual school from Shidler. We have our own curriculum and our own programs available for our TIM students. The TIM school has provided many resources and opportunities for the students, such as amazing academic advisors who actually care about you. They have mandatory advising for freshmen and sophomores where they get to know you and help you create a schedule to plan for your college career. They also give you tips and advice about classes and scheduling. They've been a big help for me throughout my college journey. They made it so much easier to handle and gave me a better experience. And the faculty at the TIM school is also very invested in their students and their student life. TIM professors support us by having their doors open for office hours, participating in student club fundraisers and events, and being advisors to our student run clubs such as TIMSA,Eta Sigma Delta, CMAA, and so many more. OverallUH Manoa and the TIM School has provided me a very gratifying and impactful college experience. Everything I learned, and fortunate enough to experience, will stick with me for the rest of my life.
