Aloha. My name is Maria, and I'm a student at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. I'm currently a senior majoring in travel industry management at the Shidler College of Business. Most of my classes were at George Hall, so I spent most of my time in this building. Looks pretty aesthetically pleasing. Am I right? I chose to major in travel industry management for two reasons. I really enjoy working with various types of people, and simply put, I love to travel. Visiting other destinations is so much fun. And my major has brought me so many opportunities to explore the world. I love being a travel industry management major. Aside from majoring in TIM, I really enjoy Korean culture. I love eating Korean food, watching Korean dramas listening to Korean music, and I have actually visited Korea multiple times during my college career. This right here is our Center for Korean Studies, and I took some of my classes in this beautiful building. I studied Korean language for two years, and I'm definitely not the best at it, but the classes were great.UH Manoa, has great language programs if you're interested and there's many opportunities to study abroad. Fun fact, I actually spent majority of my time at Hamilton Library these past four years as an undergrad. However, I didn't really study. I just worked at the front desk part time, UH Manoa has a career center that helps students get jobs on campus, and also prepares students for careers after graduation. So, yeah, that's me right there doing my job. Another fun fact, I spent my first two years of undergrad as a member of the UH Manoa marching Band. Here's some photos of the amazing people I've met during my time as a marching band member, and also my section dressed as bananas for homecoming. Fun. So, yeah, that's pretty much about me. Thanks for watching. See you in the next video, mahalo.
