Hi, my name is johnny Long and I'm a student at the University of Hawaii at mineral and this upcoming spring I'll be entering the Scheidler College of Business throughout my video series on campus Real, I'll be giving you some insider trade on how to navigate your way, becoming a student at the Schadler College of Business. Before we dive into the other videos, I want to share a little bit more information about me, I'm from Kentucky, which is a small town in, on a little boy on the island of the law. I've just completed my second year at uhh you know, and I plan on majoring in either marketing or management. I chose to apply at the Shrine of the College of Business because it's the best school that I could afford, just get it maybe. On a serious note growing up, I heard a motivational speech from eric Thompson and he said that he got his PhD so that his kids would at least get a bachelor's and he did it as a way of setting a standard for his family and that's kind of what I'm doing. I don't have kids, um not by choice, just haven't found a girlfriend yet. I know that if my two younger brothers watching me graduate from college, they at least want to graduate from high school and I can hold them to it, so I'm kind of doing this for myself to secure my future and to also be a good example to my two younger brothers and my future kids, one of my favorite classes that I've taken so far is actually a pre wrecked that I had to take its sustainability class and they went deep into old civilizations and how they kind of survive with the resources that they had. And we compared all of them. It was really interactive, we had group projects and class, and uh teacher was very passionate, very knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend that class if you just need to take some pre recs or maybe you need to feel an electric spot. It was a great class and I think you'll like you. So here at the shed their College of Business, I notice that the students who drive the most have the last name long jokes aside, I think anyone can thrive here if you just have to be willing to put in the time you need to take an accounting class, you need to take calculus. Just those two classes alone can be really time consuming, especially if you're not really a numbers person like myself, as long as you're willing to put in the work and you manage your time wisely. I have no doubt in my mind that you'll succeed here at the Scheidler College of Business.
