Getting an Executive MBA from Shidler has enabled my career to flourish in the years following, allowing me to use some of the tools and things that I learned in the program too. Basically transform the energy on the island of Kauai from 8% renewable energy to 55% renewable today and um, in two years will be 70% renewable. I chose the ExecutiveMBA from Shidler because of the innovative format, which enabled a diverse group of students living on five different Hawaiian islands, plus California, to share, learn and grow together and eventually bond and do a really close network that will be a resource throughout our careers. Another great thing about the Shidler ExecutiveMBA Program was the opportunity to participate in the Asia field study during the summer. In between the two years, it enabled us to have unique access to some top companies throughout Asia, while at the same time bonding with my classmates and getting to see some great cultural attractions and learning about the culture of the Asia Pacific region
