Why Swim at Susquehanna with Kate
The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
I am a software here at Susquehanna University and I'm a member of the women's team in 19 as a first year last year, I was extremely nervous to be part of a new team and be with people that I have never met before. It is a community when we have six AM lifts and then practice right after. Everyone is so incredibly supportive and the swim team has become my family. They are people who support me and they always want the best for me, just like I do them usually for a team bonding events. We have the women's swim team will do pass the nights and we'll have movie nights and we were going to do a Halloween scavenger hunt. We're gonna play things around on campus and then we would have to go and find them for a price. We do have coed practices and as someone who does practice with upperclassmen on the men's swim team, it is intimidating, but they are extremely supportive and they have become big brothers. To me it is a community and everyone will do anything for each other if either if anyone who can. So my biggest advice is to run at your fears and not run away from them. The swim team is part of me and I recommend it to anyone who is interested. I recommend that email Michael tub and just go for it because it is part of me that has changed my life.
