Hi Amelia here and I want to tell you about one of my favorite smith traditions, Julia Child day Julia child graduated from smith in 1934 and then went on to become the famous and beloved chef that she was while she went to smith. She lived in Hubbard house and apparently they are still quite proud of that legacy today. Um as is the smith community at large in 2000 and four, smith started a new tradition to honor her, which we just called Julia Child Day. Um It's where the dining halls all make Julia child recipes for our meals that day. I look forward to it because you know the food is gonna be good that day this year, we just had Julia child date a few weeks ago and the food was as expected quite good. Um I had, I believe chocolate croissant and kiss the rain for breakfast a croc. Once you're for lunch, coq a vin for dinner and raspberry survey and creme brulee for dessert, it was so hard to pick where to eat, especially for dinner because all the dining halls were offering different meals also and it's so good. Eventually my friends and I settled on just one. I've heard of dining hall hopping especially under a child day in order to combine the elements of all the best meals or taste literally everything being served on that day.
