Hello there, my name is name in and I'm from Tunisia. Um first year student at smith college and I joined smith college this fall fall 2021. I currently live in Shay's house, which is one of the oldest houses at smith and I love this house personally because it has a very diverse student body and a very strong sense of community. Obviously have like most of my friends in this house, I apply to smith college last year when I was a senior at high school. My research process was focusing on finding colleges that are liberal arts colleges with a very strong sense of community and also have an architecture major smith college has an open curriculum that means you can discover many, many topics and like you can get to take classes outside of your major or your minor. I was looking for a place that makes me feel like home and I believe smith is a very great space for that. As I said, I'm from Tunisia and I never been to the US before, I'm still adjusting but I believe smith is really helpful that the international community is like really appreciated and everyone is really um always happy to help and supporting everyone here. We have an organization that is dedicated for international student and I'll help us like get involved more in this community. Another thing that made me apply to smith is its location. North Hampton is, is a small city, they're different shops. There are parks, we have a downtown smith is very close to downtown, so you never get bored, which I believe amazing.
