Hi today I'm going to be showing you guys a little tour of one of my favorite spots on campus the library and I'm just going to share all the different academic and extracurricular resources within it and just what all is a part of our campus library here at us. Here we are at the bailey library and it is located in the quad on campus, which is where all of our classroom buildings are. So if you notice walking up to the library here we have a little to go window there on the right, you can actually order from the get app and we have a cafe in the lobby where you can just order coffee on your way to class and pick it up on on your way. So walking into the first floor we have plenty of study space. This is a loud environment where people hang out in between class. We also have the writing center which is where you can go with paper help like writing essays and drafting them. We also have create education and development and academic services back there And up here on the left we have the tutoring center tutoring centers of phenomenal resource. They are all included resources up on the second floor of the Officer community engaged Learning, which is all volunteer opportunities. We have various computer labs on the second floor as well. These group study rooms are personally my favorite because they're secluded and you get nice windows that look out over campus and it's just a nice place to study. As I mentioned, the office for community engaged learning is anything volunteer opportunities like habitat for humanity and mission trips and stuff like that. We also have these individual study rooms here on the second floor, so if you want to just lock yourself in a room with a desk, you can now entering the second floor main area of the library. We have all these study tables where you can study in groups and there's plenty of printing on every floor of the library. The second floor is also kind of more of a indoor voice type of environment where the first floor is very loud and the second floor you can still study in groups, but it's a little quieter than the first floor. They have all these little desk clusters as well where you can just sit with your own little cubicle space and study. We also have various other study spots on the second floor with those couches there and these cubicle spaces here in the back. You can also sit at the windows and look out over a campus as well. So now going up to the third floor, this little area outside the third floor is my personal favorite because you have a little background noise but it's very quiet. The nice thing about once you enter these doors here is that it is completely silent on the third floor of the library. We also have these various study tables that look out over campus and these window seats. So there is plenty of seating secluded seating on the third floor here, you can see just how many they have on the third floor and this year is the furthest corner of the third floor of the library. This is the most secluded spot on the third floor personally. This is where I do all my studying, where I can look out over campus. One of these, these tables here spread out, hang out in the silence because the third floor of the library is completely silent. So this is where I do all my studying and hang out the most. There's also these hidden little desks in here where you can sit in between all the bookshelves and study. So going back to the first floor of the library real quick you saw the writing center, career education development academic services in the tutoring center. The writing center is personally one of my favorite resources on campus because you can just walk in there say hey I need some help editing my paper and the english majors and minors that work there will just act as the professor and answer those and help help you on your paper and three education development, they do your professional development. So basically preparing you for life after college, I went in there as a freshman for resume work, cover letter work, um a mock interview and they do job searches and job fairs and they are a phenomenal resource within the library. If you're undecided in your major or want to pick up a minor, you can just reach out to them and they will be your best friend in doing all the paperwork and setting you up with the right set of classes and the tutoring center. Even as an honors college student, I have used that multiple times because it keeps you on top of your work and just helps you understand topics you cannot understand in those classes. I used it for chemistry and physics and personally, it was something that helped me get A's on the exams. So thank you guys for checking in for my video in the library. Stay tuned for more videos on our extracurricular resources and academic resources here on campus.
