I'm the social media marketing graduate assistant here at slippery rock for enrollment management and I'm also in the masters of public health graduate program here and today I'm going to be showing you my top five favorite things about slippery rock university. So first here we are barely library and I will take you in and give you a little tour. I like coming here because there's a cafe where I can get my coffee and there are three floors that are each for different levels of study. So the first floor is typically pretty loud and busy and then the second floor is quieter and this is where I like to study with my friends and then the third floor is totally silent so I don't use this floor super often, but it is good for finals week. Now we're in the quad which is where a lot of campus organizations will have outside events and activities and people will hang out here between classes and play beans on the grass or sit down and study and I love walking through here on the class changes and just seeing everyone walk around and interact with the different events. Now we're at the dorms that building a where I lived my freshman year and the girls I moved in with here. I actually lived with all four years of my undergrad and I was able to make my best friends living here and in the dorms, they have a lot of different socials and gatherings for your floor and you can go and meet different people and participate in different things to learn about different organizations and events on campus. I really appreciate having been in this environment because I was able to get so comfortable with the people on campus and learned so many different things about events and organizations. This is the gender building where most of the public health classes are taught and I took my favorite course here and underground which was intro to health education and through taking that class, I kind of learned where I want to go in my career. It taught me a lot about health education and promotion and then I was able to come up with a future career plan from taking that class. So I spent a long time in this building and I loved all the classes that I was able to take care of. This is the student health center where I got an on campus job as a hope of your onions later. I worked in the protection connection office doing health education and promotion with students. I was able to collaborate with a bunch of different on campus organizations and do some different fun events and it really helped me figure out where I wanted to go after undergrad and I learned about the masters of public health program from my supervisor and that's how I ended up where I am now. I hope you enjoyed hearing about my favorite spots on campus and I know you'll find your faves here too.
