Hi guys, my name is Reece and I'm here today at all mecca and the Maya Resident's Hall. I'm a student assistant here at the Office of Housing Administration at SAN Diego State University and I'd like to welcome you guys to a triple model room. S. C. S. U. We offer triples, doubles, singles and quads. Triples are most common to come with the expectation that you can be placed in a triple. One of the big questions I get asked when living at S. C. S. U. Is what comes standard in a room. In a typical room we have a bed, desk and chair, wardrobe, closet space A. C. And heating in it. The micro fridge is comprised of a fridge, a freezer and a microwave. Another big question I get is how much clothes can I bring? And that's also a really good question. As you can see from our wardrobe or closet space, there's enough clothes to fit all of your needs. We also have two drawers designated at the bottom for each resident. Whether being if this is a triple room, we have 12 and three George right here. Mm. Mhm. In this omega room are size for the bed is twin XL it's a bit bigger than the twin size and make sure you grab the right sheets. Twin XL. Another big question we get is how much storage is underneath the bed. Now, while these are bought by us, you can definitely go buy some at the target or walmart. So while we're viewing the mecca room here today, and you may think it's the greatest room ever. In our housing application, we don't get to choose which building we live with. There are four preferences are taken into consideration to find the best building for you. So as I said before, we offer singles, doubles, triples and Fox. On the housing application, you can rank which house or which room type you'd like if you like a single, you can put that on the top and then other words down, I can't guarantee that if you put single the top, you'll be guaranteed a single what we're doing our best to accommodate you. If you have anyone coming to SAN Diego state awesome, you can find them by their red eyed and the housing application. If not, you can take a little pre course survey that basically ask you a couple questions like if you're a morning or night person, if you're a clean person or like a slob I guess. They'll be factoring compatibility rates based on those people. You can also search for specific preferences and specific keywords such as if you're a basketball player and you just search up the keywords basketball, you can find people that put in their bio basketball and see if they share common preferences with you. Another preference that we have is halls of our break. So specific buildings are open during the break while specific buildings are not one of these breaks could be thanksgiving spring break, thanksgiving break and so on and so forth. So if you request to be placed in a building open during those breaks will be placing you in. If not the building will close and you have to leave during that time. Community preferences if you're planning on living on any of the communities like the Webbers. Honors, college men in engineering wise, extended quiet hours, so on and so forth. So all four of those preferences will be taken into consideration to find the best building for you and hopefully it's a mecca. Hopefully you liked it at S. C. S. U. R. Floors are coed with the ruins being single gender themselves. So typically find a men's room, room, men's room, men's room. Typically our residents halls also provide single generations at the end of muscles which will find over there. Hey, one of the fears reported by many students is that what if I come to the restroom and everyone's using it? That's really unlikely to happen. So most of time when you come into the restroom, you'll find a spot for yourself here custodial maintenance to have come into the halls five times a week to help with the up keeping of the common areas and this is what a shower looks like, awesome. So this is our laundry site here on the first floor of a mecca. We take red I. D. So you can up load money onto your red idea account, tap it in, put one number of machine you're using and then machines to start rolling. If you can see our washers are 125 while the drivers are $1. Take a look.
