What's up, everyone? My name is Sarah Williams, and I'm a third year at San Diego State University in San Diego, California I'm a double major in business management and theater arts, and I do also have our honors minor in interdisciplinary studies. I'm going to be giving you a sneak peek into life as an Aztec. I'm originally from Los Angeles, California so I just kind of hopped down to San Diego for school. I do currently live on campus as a resident advisor, which I'll be explaining more in my later videos, but essentially it means that I live on campus in the residents halt supporting first year students as a just a college life. I chose SC SC because it really just checked all of my boxes. It is in a beautiful Southern California city, and it is also a very large and active campus. I do also knew coming into college that I wanted to double major, which STS you allows, and they also have very well respected theater and business programs, which is what I wanted to study. I also wanted to study abroad and knew that coming into college and s C S C. Was one of the highest ranked universities in the country for the number of students that it sends abroad. Mhm, mhm. Mm. The first time I toward campus, I completely fell in love. The tour guides here at S C s u R called ambassadors, and my ambassador was saying hi to almost every person we passed and knew so much about the university. I wanted to be just like that, connected and involved on my campus. I have become an STS you ambassador to give back and hopefully have the same impact on perspective students that my ambassador had on me. Yeah, I've really found my place in both the business and theater departments. I feel like I kind of get the best of both worlds, which I guess is kind of the point with a double major. My business professors and classes have taught me a lot about being a professional and entering the real world, and my theater classes and professors have really allowed me to explore artistically as I move towards a career in the entertainment industry. I can't wait to show you more about campus life and what it's like being an Aztec.
