Hey, guys, I'm a junior here at Rochester Institute of Technology, and this is a day in my life Weekend edition. Um, so one of the first things I like to do in the morning is eat breakfast. I am kind of an indecisive person, so I will usually just stand around my kitchen and, like, open the pantry and then look in the fridge and figure out what I want. Um, for this weekend, I've kind of got a busy day. I'm going to hike because it's nice outside and then rock climb later and also need to go grocery shopping. Ah, part of the Academic Success Center, which is in the S a U C e. Something else that I sometimes do on the weekends on campus is actually go to a bakery called Artisan. So that's pretty nice, e. I'm gonna ask what someone else does on the weekends at R I t. Halle. Hi. Okay, So what I do on the weekends is I hang out with friends. I explore a lot of places around Rochester and Henrietta, like you want to wake him farms for the sunflower field. So friend just picked me up, and we are currently hiking near the around a koi bay. There's so many good places to hike around our I t. And just around Rochester in general. We decided to go a little bit further out today, and I'll just show you guys some clips along the way. We stumbled upon this neighborhood where there was an antique garage slash market type sale and we decided to check it out. So we're currently at where we simply great this'll places in Pittsford, New York, and is about 15 to 18 minutes from our I T. However, there are also a bunch of really good restaurants even closer. Obviously, with any weekend, there needs to be time to do homework. Since it's such a nice weekend, I want to show you guys a cool spot that I'd like to go to and a great place to, like, meet up with friends to do homework. If I flip the camera around dorms is right there and then where I live. Check this out and then I set up like my laptop and like, some snacks. There's a lot of textbooks and supplies for classes. There's lots of our i t apparel at this from the noble as you can see behind me. So there's not enough food in my fridge for the rest of the week. Um, the Wegmans is about less than 10 minute drive from our I t. And six minutes from here. Um, but if you don't have a car, there's also our t bussing that goes to different grocery locations over the weekend. So I wanted to drive past this area about five minutes away from our I t. To show you guys some of the things that are around here. Um, there's a place called Tully's, which is very well known in Rochester. The Rochester itself is just kind of known for wings. So I took out my contacts, put on my glasses and then decided to take a nap. Um, after that, I made dinner and then hung out with my hung out and talked with my apartment mates for a bit and in a little bit, I'm going downtown to go bouldering. Um, it's kind of like rock climbing both out ropes. I'll show you some videos once we're there, and then after that, probably just hang out with friends for the rest of the night. Okay, so we're here at Central Rock Gym, which is in downtown Rochester. Pretty close to our I t. And, um, there are a lot of our I t students because the climbing club is here current at this gym, people mainly due bouldering. There's another gym nearby called Rock Ventures. A year and a half. What are some things that you like to do around our I T Whenever there was a giant snow belles, I'd go out with my friends like 2 a.m. Hang out on those that was fun. We got some new sons, got some new routes overall, 10 out of time. Yeah, so that was my weekend from early Saturday morning to late at night, and I just wanted to add a little side. I think because there's so much to do around the Rochester area and the R I t campus over the weekend, every weekend does really bring something new.
