The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
Hi everyone. My name is Nevaeh Lockwood, and I am a nursing student at North Country Community College in the practical nursing program. North Country Community College consists of three separate campuses, which are Malone, Ticonderoga, and we're gonna be focusing on Saranac Lake. The Saranac Lake campus is a traditional college experience complete with athletics, residence halls and dining services. The most popular degrees in programs at this campus are healthcare, human services, business, environmental and criminal justice fields. And if you would like to see all of the majors and programs, feel free to visit nccc.edu/programs. The Saranac Lake campus is a very close-knit campus community where you can get involved, make lasting friendships and connect with faculty and staff that are focused on your success. Within the community there are great features like really cool shops, art galleries and events such as the Winter Carnivaland the local Art Walks. The campus is also conveniently located in the heart of the Adirondacks, right near Lake Placid, which is the home of the 1932 and 1980 Olympic Winter Games. Because the area is surrounded by nature, you could go and explore local trails or my favorite, you can go hiking with your friends. In the winter, you could go skiing or snowboarding, and then in the warmer months, you could go kayaking or canoeing. If you are more interested in wildlife or just exploring in general, the Adirondack Park consists of six million acres that are free to explore all seasons of the year.
