Hey guys, today I'll be talking about clubs and extracurricular activities at Ivey. Now Ivey has so many things that you can get involved in, so many activities, and if there's anything that you are interested in that hasn't been done, go ahead and create it. You are encouraged to go outside, encouraged your classmates to join and start an organization of your own. Now personally I'm involved in the Women in Management, I'm a member and it's really wonderful to sit down and hear what the alumni have in their experience recruiting, also working in different industries and how it is that you can grow yourself as a personal brand and also grow yourself as an individual outside and you can use these skills to help other ladies in the management-oriented role that might come through Ivey as well.I'm also involved in the MSc Wine and Cuisine Society. This is a very relaxed atmosphere. You bring your own beer or wine or if you don't drink, water, everything is welcome and you sit down and discuss, learn new recipes, and just get to know your classes from different streams as well. And also, I'm a member of the pro bono analytics club. I actually have a leadership role here. So I am the VP of Marketing and Digital Presence and essentially I'm the online voice of the club. I run our social media platforms. I help in creating events and looking for the best way to market so we get as many people involved. Actually in my role, I've been able to market our conference, which is focused on teaching people and listening to alumni that used their analytical skills in a social impact in organizations and learn allowing the students to realize that you don't have to choose just one. You can work in the private sector and have just as much impact in the social sector just as well. And the main focus of the club is that you are able to help using your skills, small businesses around the London area to provide services throughout the term. So you're able to, if it's brand management that they need SEO optimization, financial budget optimization, strategy, whatever it is, you're able to help and support them. And as a club, we also want to support our students, so we provide them with training and connecting them with professors who will serve as mentors to help them grow better. And in all these clubs, I've been able to grow as an individual, learning how to communicate better with people with also clients and then I've been able to transfer this also to my classes. Ivey is very heavy on case learning and so having the opportunity to use the case learnings in a business environment and then transfer the lessons also to my class have been a huge benefit of improving my educational aspect and just growing as a person. And if you're any student looking to come into Ivey, I would encourage you to join any club that you want. And once again, as I said, if there's anything you're interested in that hasn't been done, go ahead and create it shows initiative, and initiative is very, very important when you're trying to succeed in anything and if you're interested in joining any clubs or you have to do is sign up, a lot of the clubs are free and clubs that are aren't free, it's a very small fee to help get your presents and gifts and also for training and so I am pretty sure you guys will enjoy it. You'll love it. And if you want to learn more, there are lots of web pages and social media is just reach out to anyone and you have a wonderful time. Thank you guys.
