So what the case method actually is real life problems, something that someone has had to make a decision about in the past. Um it could be something with regards to international business, it could be integrating into cross cultural situations, it could honestly be anything in relation to the business world and so what we do with the case studies at the beginning of the semester, we get our course book and these case studies are all lined out and basically per class, we do one case and you have to prepare that. Um there's normally a bunch of questions that the teachers ask you to to kind of prompt your mind about what we're gonna be talking about in class and as it relates to the learning outcome for that class. Um basically you're gonna be deriving, you're gonna be describing defending any solutions that you come up with or any problems that you see in the case and you get to talk about it with your peers and kind of see what their opinions are about as well. One thing that I think is so great about this way of learning is you come up with your own ideas and it's great and sometimes they're right on point and then other times, you know, you kind of missed the mark on it and you're there to discuss, you're there to learn. Um and we've even had the opportunity in my classes for my cohort to bring in some of the people who actually wrote these case studies, and the best part about them is that the real life, relevant, their concurrent with what's going on. And it's just a great way to prepare your mind and to think on an abstract basis of what's going on. It really takes you out of your comfort zone. And it challenges, like I said, to think more abstractly about what's going on in the world around you, um and getting to converse with your peers, and then when the professor comes back and says, these are all great, but this is actually what happened, and you're like, oh, maybe my mind was leading me there, and your mind is just it's kind of blown away, it comes full circle in a way it's great. I love learning with the case method, and it takes you out of the very theoretical driven, um typical learning environment, and and it makes you think, yeah.
