Hi everybody. My name is Mitch. And today I'm gonna talk to you a little bit with the Ivey MSC program Business Analytics. So jumping right into it. Why did I choose the program? Well, first of all, coming from medical science background business was not on my mind in the beginning, I had to do a bit of soul searching, and after a while I decided that business was gonna be the career path for me. So what I did was like consulted my brother a little bit, who's already in business. And he's talked about how the Ivey program had a great reputation and I really might enjoy it. And, you know, the great thing about Ivey is that they make it so easy for you to get in there and find out if this program is actually right for you. Now, when I say that, that means that there's maybe a couple of things that Ivey that may not be right for you and one in particular would be the case method. Now, if you're not sure what the case method is is essentially scenarios that Ivey uses to teach most of their classes. So far. In the first semester, we had a case just about every single class. We go in, we would take a deep dive into these scenarios and try to apply business strategies to these cases. And that would be the way that we learned some advice that I could give to you to decide if this is something that's right for you is First of all, go check out the Ivey website. You can definitely go find out a little bit more bookcases that way, as well as do some digging around on the Internet yourself and see what the case is actually like. Cases could be from a different wide variety of areas, not just accounting or finance. They could be from strategy and marketing and so forth. So definitely go check that out on the Internet.
