I'm 1/4 year student at the Ivey Business School. It's about the business school at Western University in London, Ontario. In terms of program size, you know, we have about 600 HK students coming to school every year. I'm so thankful to be going to school that I do. I guess I guess I'll start with the reasons why I chose to come toe western and I ve e business school in itself. For me, it came down to I really wanted to study a few different things. I've gives you that opportunity in the sense that Ivy has the ability to take two years and what our program you like for me, that was political science. I love political science, and I loved what I learned in that program, and I think it was set a foundation for being for me to do well in business school on I think that that's a unique opportunity. You get maybe only at Ivy, where you could basically take two years when the program you want and then move on for two years at Ivy in business. So from from moving from that, I think that was the first reason why I chose to come divey Second, obviously reputation. I think it's the best of this business school in Canada. Uh, at the business school really is known with our alumni network on all of our corporate recruiting abilities, which is really great as well. Uh, I think moving on from that I think for the social life that I ve is really, really great thing section culture that develops is so awesome. I've made some of my best friends s of my roommates, um, people that I really cherish the bonds and I dealt with them all through my time. I think that section culture works is so is so excellent, um, intense. You basically have all your class of the same people in your first year divey. That's kind of a cool way of develop, developing that culture between between different people and it's a really really great. E think I was looking for a lot in the in the university experience when I came. I've always kind of had that dream milk, like almost that US style experience where you know you're on campus all the time and making those great connections and making those great friends. I think that that's what I kind of always dreamed about on. I think that in Canada, Western and the business were like one of the most closely you could get to that American college style experience. That's kind of what I was searching for, um, in terms of, I guess, visiting campus. That's kind of the first piece for me in kind of telling my like, Western and I ve so much at school, I'm really tell that people really care about Western and Ivy, and I mean, obviously, if you look at the business school are building is absolutely gorgeous, and I'm just fall in love that every time I walk in the doors, I guess attributes is why I actually love my school, the first one being the fact that I think that we learn a lot of really important soft and hard skills and make you employable and ready, ready to go for your first job and then also helping to get that job is really important. That's one of the reasons why I love my school. Another reason why is I think the community that we build is really excellent. I'm really happy with all the friends and the and the bonds that I've made. I think that we have certain things I'd I'd be, um, that you just would not see anywhere else. That's what I'm so thankful for on why I really love my school last year and finished off with what people should know before they come toe western and ivy, um, in itself. I think that they should know that, um, it's a long process you're gonna apply in high school. You have to go through two years at Western, and then and then you're two years at the business school. So I think that it's important that you realize, um, it's a long process to kind of get where you want to get to, but once you're there, it's worth it in the end. So I think that, uh, one thing I always talk about is like staying the course and, you know, being able Thio being able to be someone who goes. If you want to be the person who goes toe be it will be someone who is able to stay the course and look towards the future. I, keep in the moment of where you are right now. That's something that I think I did really well out of a hope for someone who is considering coming to a Western and I ve to do the same thing.
