I'm from Sarasota, Florida, and I attend school at Florida Southern College, which is in Lakeland, Florida So two hours away, Not so bad. Um, and I'm currently attending all my classes in person except one, which is on Zoom. So I just access that from my dorm, which I'm currently in right now, and I'm majoring in studio art, which is a lot of fun. I sort of have some little sort of things in the background that I've done. I'm actually thinking of switching to graphic design and maybe adding some miners, maybe double majoring. Who knows? The possibilities are endless, and I'm only a freshman, so it's important to know that not everyone has it figured out. You might have to think you go into college, you have to know your major, your mind or your everything you're going to do. A lot of people switch and you know, everyone hasn't figured out which is important. So I chose for the Southern because I did a project my sophomore year of high school where my teacher made us research colleges and write a bunch of things about them. Like what we like different clubs they have that we might be interested in joining and just a bunch of things that we potentially like left at school and for the Southern was one that really stood out to me because it's small and me personally, I I knew I could not attend a large university. I've toured them and they're just taking a shuttle to one of my classes. Looking at a small school like Florida Southern, it really stuck with me. It just something about It was like, This seems really nice and it was always in the back of my head, and I met with my recruiter for my area a bunch of times. He's super like bubbly, and he really influenced my decision a lot. I saw him at fairs and I met with him a Panera one day to just, like show my mom more about the school, and that's when he gave me my acceptance letter with a scholarship and all this great stuff, and that was amazing. It was great to have that in person experience and there. Oh my gosh, Florida Southern has so many fun events, the Association of Campus Entertainment goes, They're insane. They're crazy, like there's so many events like we had events for Black History Month and there's just so many great things that they're putting on moving nice and there's there's always something to do well who thrive at this school. As I said before, everyone here is super nice and super genuine, and I feel like like, hardworking, kind, genuine people are the ones who thrive here. I've been taking a lot of art classes and honors classes because I'm currently in the honors program, and so there's been a lot of fun. I hope you're pumped, your aunt, you're ready to learn more and I'll see you soon.
