I chose equality because of its diverse population, We have students with disability as well as a large population of english language learners, both at the middle school and at the high school. The other reason, which I find very important to me is the location equality is located within reasonable distance from my home and I'm a firm believer in a healthy and productive balance of work and personal life. The administration at Equality does numerous things to support our teachers being an admitted for the first year at the middle school. There are a few things that myself along with the other administrators do with their teachers, some of which includes individual coaching meetings with their teacher weekly, um check ins weekly as well as create individual growth plan. These individual growth plan has quarterly goals that teachers um and their coaches create as well as strategies to reach those goal, which in turn leads to the long term goal and ties into their PDS V goal. The relationship between the teachers and admin just one word to sum it up is phenomenal. The administration is trustworthy, we support each other, we respect each other boundaries. Then most importantly at the end of the road, there's always a celebration when it comes to teachers. There's Working at both school, being a teacher at the high school for five years and then moving to the Middle School as an administrator. I must say that the teachers are respectful to each other and they all work with one goal in common, which is the foster success and healthy development of their students. One thing that equality offers, which allows for growth, is the opportunity for growth within the organization. The support from department heads and other administration helps you grow in terms of your profession and become a better educator.
