Um, one of the spanish teachers here at Equality Charter High School at the moment. The reason why I became a teacher is to be a member in the fight of educational equity. I believe every child in the United States deserves education of quality and rigor and equality is one of the places where I can achieve my professional goal. There are so many things I love about my students, but there are two qualities that I love the most. I admire their capacity to overcome any difficult day or any situation outside the classroom and be the best selves when they have to work. The second thing I really love about my students is their ability to work with others and push themselves to learn from each other's experiences and share what they know in my class spanish class, we get to explore culture, we explore language, connections, communication, and the best part is when they can apply what I teach to the real world, especially in our community.
