The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
I'm the assistant principal here at Equality Charter High School. I became an educator just because I wanted to make a change in the education field through my own high school experience. Uh, you know, post secondary experiences at first I didn't know that education was, was for me. I love giving back and I got reeled in by one of my old administrators to give it a shot and I went to school, I wanted to get my Masters and adolescent special education and I fell in love with, fell in love with the career, fell in love with the Children. Everything that comes with, what I love most about my students is that they are all very different. Um they're all the same from the standpoint of that. They all need love, they all need somebody to support them, but they're all very different. Everybody has a different, a different motivating factor, something that inspires them, something that is uh, intrinsically motivating to them. I enjoyed the fact that I have a different relationship with every single student that we have a security problem. Mm What I love about my position as an assistant principal, I feel like I get to to dibble and dabble in so many different things at the end of the day. I think I have to work closely obviously with our principle to ensure that the trajectory of the school, uh student success and we're trending in the correct direction, but it allows me so many opportunities to, to deal with, you know, culture, academics, retention, our recruitment, so many different angles for our staff, students and our family.
