So why did I choose C. T. U. Well for those of you who might not be familiar with how the process for becoming a medical resident works. Um You go through what's called the match process with the match you interview with programs and then you rank programs based on your interests and the programs rank you and At the end of it they're supposed to be a match between the two. So during my interview season, what I noticed was that first of all every single medical school and every single residency program, they all have their mission statement. It sounds wonderful when I was actually talking to the different programs kind of varied how seriously they took it. What I noticed with CTU after my interview was they are one of the programs that absolutely took their mission statement and their values seriously. This is an institution that is all about cultivating diverse healthcare professionals and leaders in medicine and I could tell that not just from reading their website but from the actual people I was talking to during the interview and the various activities and I mean, various there are so many things going on associated with CTU in the community where people are actively engaging and making the value in the mission statement to come to life. It's the primary reason that I was interested in see to you, and it's the reason why I'm so happy to be here at CTU. Yes..
