Hi, I'm Daniel and I'm a third year International Business student at Glasgow Caledonian University. When I applied to GCU back in 2018 I was captured by its mission for the common good, that to me made it stood out from other universities. This is because this fully mirrors my values and to this day I am so glad I made that decision. Some of the things I love about GCU are, its position, which is in the city center of Glasgow, right across from Buchanan Bus Station. The staff both academic and non academic which is always available to students. I love how diverse our campus is, including lots of international students like myself. The campus offers several facilities such as amazing library, study spaces, a gym, a rooftop garden and lots of other amazing facilities. Furthermore, another thing I love about GCU is the fact that students can get involved in extracurricular activities through societies or clubs or sports clubs and you can either join an existing society, clubs or sports club or GCU gives you the opportunity to start your own society or club based on your own interests.
