So for this video is going to be hitting some quick facts about our campus. All the things that you might want to know about the student body and kind of the way things are just like the energy and the environment on campus. I've said this in a previous video at some point way are eleven toe, one faculty student ratio, which I know it sounds small, but it's really nice, honestly, because you've got a lot of face to face time with the professors and each specific students progresses really measured and really taken into account here, and that is something I actually really enjoy. So the school itself is not in the most ideal location. Our campus is a little old looking because we are the oldest in Sunni. That's something I would take into account based on who you are as a person. If you have a person who cannot live out of a city, this might not be the best location for you, but if you're the kind of person who is used to more rural areas and is okay with being in that kind of area for the period of time that you will be, Um then this place really might be for you Location based The two primary majors you'LL see at Potsdam are anything affiliated with education and anything affiliated with music. Um, you'Ll see a lot of elementary and students here, and you'LL see a lot of music and students here, but on the same spectrum, you'LL see ah, lot of performance majors here in a lot of music business majors here. All of those programs are excellent and they're pretty much the biggest name of suny Potsdam Right now, if you're looking for a school that has a lot of clubs, Yeah, this is the place. Um, we have, like, on insane amount of different things you can do here, ranging from performance opportunities to the opposite side of the spectrum in Greek life and things like that. We have eleven different sororities and fraternities on this campus. I wouldn't say it's huge Greek life culture here, but it's pretty big. There are a lot of students who are involved in it, and they're a lot of different fraternities and sororities from purposes here. So you can really find with one suits you if that's your kind of thing. If that's not your kind of thing, maybe you're more into performance. If that's your kind of thing, if you're not really into performance in your into more of a different kind of thing for music, we have organizations like American Choir Directors Association and National Associations for Music Educators, and there's Music Business Club String Teachers Association. If you're not even in a music, guess what we have more. We also have a lot of multi cultural groups yourself. We have the African Students Association, we have the the Black Students Alliance and for all of you kind of don't know where you lying All these clubs. I've never really looked into it way have an anime club. I hope you guys have a pretty good understanding of all the clubs in different options you have here on the campus and ways to get involved. So many that even if you're busy, you can probably find one that you will enjoy. Yeah, that's kind of the way the campus kind of rolls. A lot of people are involved in a lot of different things. I've been going here for an entire year now, and half the time I still see signs that I didn't even know that these clubs existed in there doing events. It's really cool to attend and check them out sometimes.
