One piece of advice that I give to all my students is that when you're working on the S. A. T. Or a C. T. Try to cross off those wrong answers rather than immediately trying to circle the correct one. The reason for that is that the test makers get a little psychological with the design of the test and they know the common mistakes that students make and the design choices that will match up with those common errors. So by being very critical of veterans or choice and eliminating anything that's not supported by the passage or that breaks a rule of grammar, et cetera, you'll be able to work your way to the right answer through the process of elimination and in the end, that's going to improve your accuracy significantly and raise your score.
