Applicant must be a women who is not a United States citizen or permanent resident. Award is for full-time study or research in the United States.

Applicants must be current Iowa high school or college students attending an Iowa institution and pursuing a program related to construction, engineering, masonry or architecture.

Applicant must be enrolled in an accredited college, university, or community college, or if still in high school, must have an expected graduation date in the spring. College applicants must be working toward a degree in either agriculture and/or agribusiness. Must be the son/daughter of an Iowa Farm Bureau member.

Applicant must be a high achieving student with an exemplary academic record. Leadership, involvement, and ability to contribute to the college's community are also considered.
