Get to know me!

My major is called Professional Studies, which usually confuses a lot of people. Basically that means instead of one major, I get two miners that equal a major. So the goal eventually is to be either a journalist or a life coach and motivational speaker, because that's just what I'm good at. Okay, so talking about something's about Westchester, it's for me. It's It has about seventeen thousand students, which is right in the middle. You can get to know everyone, or you can be independent, and by yourself it depends on what you want. You can pretty much do anything you want here in Westchester. So my favorite part about Westchester is definitely the professors. They are so incredibly gifted in how they teach a majority of them. We all get that one bad teacher, you know, But all the professors I've had have been incredible. They get, too, if you want to learn and they want to teach you and they'LL really get to know you, so that's really good. Another thing I love about Westchester is the campus. There's buses that go down, but it's a nice walk. In the springtime at West Yes, sir, everything explodes. Part of my favorite things is the town of Westchester on Gay Street. There's a million restaurants, whether you're in the mood for Italian, of Mexican or anything else. My least favorite part of Westchester, which there isn't a lot to dislike, but definitely the construction that's going on right now is just super inconvenient. In sometime they're building a huge building for the students, which is gonna be amazing it's going to be engineering nursing science. It's going to be a huge hundred million dollar building right where our parking lot is. It's a struggle, but you can get passes and then you have, like, assigned parking spot, so that's not too bad. But if that's the only thing I hate about Westchester, that's pretty good, I think. Okay, so the student body, basically there's like ten to seven females, so there's more female population than there is mail, but that's good for some people. I found that more welcoming and I feel more included with that. I think it depends on what you're looking for. Everyone is pretty kind, but walking through Westchester. If you want to engage with people, people say Hi, how you doing? If you don't, you can just be your own person and walk by yourself. It really depends how you interact with other people because you can't have to be outgoing a little bit to engage with everyone, and I think that's in any situation. The people are really nice, so don't be afraid to engage with them, so class sizes. They range from anywhere from twenty five to two hundred fifty. I've had both, and I love them both because in my class of twenty five, I know every single person's name and my professor knows me and we joke around and have fun, and he knows a lot about me. Then I've also I'm in a psychology class of like, two hundred fifty people, and my professor still knows me because I want her to know me, and I want to learn in that class. So it really depends on what classes you take and what professors you choose. If you want to be known, your teachers will know you. Some defining features of Westchester is definitely the rec center. We have a volleyball court rock wall, the rock walls like a signature of Westchester. You walk into the rec center and you look there It is, but we have a smoothie shack. In there, we have racquetball, whatever, whatever you want. We have about thirty five fraternities and sororities. Being in a fret or sorority at Westchester allows youto have a unique experience. Where you form friendships, you help the community, and you just learn a lot and have a lot of fun. So it's a really important part, but it's not the biggest part of our campus, but it's definitely a part you can engage in if you choose to.
