Meet Megan!
The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
My name is Megan Lee, and I'm a student at W s U College of Medicine. Currently, I also had the pleasure of doing my undergrad at Washington State University in Pullman. The point of this video today is to introduce you guys to W s. You and tell you why I decided to choose them. So when I was initially coming out of high school, I was looking for somewhere that I was going to do athletics. So I went on a number of different recruiting trips. What it boils down to is the feel of family that I had when I went to to our Washington State University. It was super easy decision for me and to just say yes and commit to the next four years WCO. Currently, I'm in the field of the home that I grew up in and called the Washington. So I'm from a small town and, um, I really found that that feel exists in Pullman as well. The small town feel where you just feel super intertwined and like you're part of the community and everyone really cares about you. I ultimately have been able to pursue medicine through the W S U College as well, which has been great because that family feeling has carried on throughout my undergrad and now into my professional education. So anyone who's really looking for that community aspect that you get in college and really feel like you're part of something larger, I'm just going to classes. I really recommend the CSU and Pullman, even if you're not a small town person, has been city people that love ws you something that I also really value about W. S U is the ability to pursue just about anything you want. I went in starting wanting to do athletics, and then I switched over and did ROTC, which has led me to be able to pursue medicine. The area around Pullman, if you're into the outdoors, really provides ah lot of healthy outlets, which is how I was able to make it through undergrad. But I really exploring the outdoors and taking advantage of my off time and something I think is super important isn't maintaining that work. I'm gonna go on my daily bike ride to take a break from the studies. This is just a really great way for me to reset and get away from the screen, which is something that we're spending a lot of time in front of, especially with this pandemic. So obviously with W s U um, in the pandemic, we're doing school online, so I'm able to be kind of wherever I wanna be. I do spend my time in Spokane, which is where the College of medicine is. Um, but I'm able to go to places like Hall, which is where I am today. So I hope you guys were doing well and that you decide to choose ws you for the reasons that are right for you.
