I'm from Puyallup, Washington, which is in western Washington and is just south of Seattle. I wasn't able to be on campus this year, but I'm really looking forward to getting back to Washington State University and being in Pullman in the fall. I initially applied the Washington State University because I multiple family members are alumni. I also heard many great things and seeing many great videos and various broadcasts from Communications Department, which piqued my interest. Was it something that I've actually majoring in today? I ultimately chose Washington State University not because of my family that were alumni, but because when I visited the campus, something felt different than my other schools. All the students that didn't even know me and all the professors and everyone that I saw throughout the town always greeted me with a warm smile, and they were always asking what you're up to. I also saw opportunities for me to build skills not just for my career, but for my life. Being able to collaborate and work with various students in different departments, especially the communication ones. I am currently a software Washington State University and enrolled in Fall of 2019. The subject I've enjoyed learning the most is political science, actually, which is something I never planned on majoring in. I am now actually majoring in both political science and communications at Washington State University. My political science class has taught me in various ways that I can help make change. Bolt in my city, in my state and my country and around the world, which suddenly have become very passionate about helping people who need the types of students that thrive at Washington State University is all types. Many people on campus that we're pursuing different things, from business to communications toe, animal science. There's something for everyone in Washington State University, which is why I'm so proud that it's my school. Students at Washington University thrive because of the environment that has been created. Everyone checks up on each other and everyone wants each other to succeed.
