Hey everybody, it's me again, josh martin, I'm a first year NBA student at O N. Graduate school of Management at Vanderbilt University, you know, early on, I got registered for the NBA veterans Conference, which is um career conference that specifically put on for uh the veteran population or those who may be active duty and looking for internship operations, you know, between their 1st and 2nd years of an NBA program and I um you know, didn't exactly know what to expect out of the conference. You know, it was coming back after, you know, solely being virtual last year, this year's option was in person, it was definitely an experience that I think is very worthwhile to those who, I don't know exactly what they want to go into or what company they specifically want to pursue or or um you know, look at for internships. Uh it covered a um pretty solid variety of industries, um you know, for professional careers, uh you know, for NBA is both on the internship side and for you know, second years that might want to go back and uh recruit for for a full time position I think uh you know, for me going, I I certainly took advantage of the um the ability to network while I was in Dallas um and this past year that the conference was in in Dallas in previous years that had been held in Chicago. So I think that you know that aspect of being able to go somewhere get away from Owen definitely helps and you know, it gives you a little bit of uh you know, time to build that camaraderie with the other veterans in your class, that, you know, maybe pursuing, you know, other careers or, you know, just, you know, in the spirit of being able to get to know each other better.
