Hi, My name is Casey, and I am a current student at Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management in their unmarked program. In this video today, I'm going to talk with you about why I chose the specific program for my graduate degree. I looked at dozens of programs during the application process, so I understand how overwhelming it could be. Your a few reasons that I chose Vanderbilt first or the course it's. They cover all aspects of marketing, from pricing strategies to marketing research toe advertising. In digital marketing, you get experience in every facet. In the first mod, we complete a course that dives deep into the industry of your choosing. We write a 15 page paper on that industry, and we also create a presentation that we then give to our peers. The course is great for learning more about an industry that interests you and that you hope to perceive pursue a career in and also to learn about some industries that you may not have known about before. My industry was the beer industry, and I looked at the marketing aspect of Molson Coors and Anheuser Busch. Owen Graduate School of Management has expansive alumni network with someone in almost every industry that you could think of. We not only have graduates of the M MARK program we can reach out to for advice learned from a network with, We also can reach out to MBA students in any other Owen graduate. Most importantly, these alumni are excited and willing to help us in any way they can as we go through graduate school journey. The fourth reason is all the opportunities EMR program provides students to invest in the program and grow. It didn't have the opportunity to be and mark ambassadors and connect with potential students just like you. The program also empower students Thio develop their marketing skills through extracurriculars. A student in the last mark class really wanted to create a nonprofit marketing agency where students could help businesses that don't have large marketing departments and apply some of the skills that they're learning in the classroom. I want empowered her to do this and now a mark an MBA. Students work together to help businesses solve some of their marketing problems. I don't reason I chose Vanderbilt is the opportunity to participate in internships while you're completing the program. The unmarked program is designed for students to participate in internships if they choose. The Career center also provides students with tons of different internship opportunities all over Nashville. Vanderbilt gives students the opportunity to develop skills in all aspects of marketing and implement everything that we're learning in the classroom to real life opportunities. I hope this video and the information it provides about Vanderbilt's a mark program is helpful in your graduate school decision.
