Hi everyone, my name is Cameron, I'm a freshman at the University of southern California in the door inside of College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. So when I was applying I really wanted a place that would let me explore during under red because I feel like undergrad is still a time in your life where you should still be trying out a lot of new things and exploring what you want to do and being exposed to new things that you didn't even realize you could be interested in. So instead of the more pre professional programs um at other colleges, I was really attracted to USC Dornsife in the way that it had so many programs where a student could involve themselves outside of the classroom. Um These are things like JP where um students can combine their education with service learning um and reach out to the greater south central community of L. A. Um There are things like May Master where um it's like a condensed study abroad program in the spring where students take a class and then they travel um for four weeks in May. Um So things like that are what attracted to the USC Dornsife is, I think this school is so focused on creativity and academic interests in a way that's refreshing.
