Hi!! Welcome to USC
The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
I'm currently a junior at USC, studying cognitive science with a double minor in statistics and consumer behavior. Um, right now I'm in Alumni Park and right behind me, if you can see that is Doheny Memorial Library. If you look at it, it looks like it has four floors, but it actually has 95 of them are below ground, and four of them are above ground. That's because Joe Heaney has 800,000 books in the book stocks and actually houses three smaller libraries inside. Okay, so I'm actually currently behind Joe Heaney Right now. I want to show you guys one of my favorite study spots. It's one of my favorite outdoor study spots at USC. Um, the weather is always super nice here. It's kind of like sonny, like 70 degrees at all times, So outdoor study spots are great, and this is the patio right behind Joe Heaney Memorial Library. There's a cute little coffee shop called Literate E. You know, coffee there, even Boba and then just sit in the patio and kind of like, do your work mostly procrastinate if you're like me. Um, but that's normally how I spend my day studying. I did want to show you guys, but it looks like it normally is way prettier. Um, and right here is the entrance into the library and also literate E. It's right in that corner over there. Okay, I'm not gonna talk about a bit of USD history. So right behind me, this white building right here is the Whitney alumni house. When we were founded back in 18 80 this is where the 1st 53 students and 10 foxy members all have their classes. Um, we don't have classes in this building anymore, though Now it houses all of our gear books. So if you wanted to see what Will Ferrell looked like when he came to us, See, you can definitely check that out in Whitney. Um, but we are definitely not limited just to the Whitney alumni house. Now, if I do this big circle, you can see that we have a lot in our campus has grown a ton. Um, we now have over 48,000 students on campus, 20,000 of them being undergrad. Yeah. Now, in Han Plaza, which is typically the busiest place on campus, you'll always find students going to class here. I've seen, like a surfboard and paddle to just down, um, this area and right behind me right here. As you can see, he's flexing every single bone in his body. Um, and on the side of Tommy, you'll see the five traits of a Trojan faithful scholarly, skillful creation. We like to say that if you don't come into USC with all five of these trades will definitely leave here with all five of them. I did not come in here with all of them, but hopefully by the time I was senior, I'll be everything. That Tommy is Mhm. Thank you all so much for watching.
