Friday night dessert at genki crepes

Genki Crepes & Mini Mart is a popular quick dessert place for USF students. Genki Crepes is located on Clement Street along with other great places to eat. It is only a 7-minute car drive away from campus and about a 25-minute walk. You can also take the Muni 33 to get there. Students are given free bus passes for each semester.

Gleeson plaza + st. ignatius church
Campus
Gleeson Plaza is the main quad on campus. Here, students can participate in events such as the Spring Carnival which includes rock climbing and a petting zoo. Other events like Spirit Walk and the Involvement Fair take place here as well. It's such a great place to hang out outdoors, so you can sometimes find students playing football, soccer, or having a picnic with friends in the grassy area across Gleeson Plaza.

Mikayla's favorite place on campus: st. ignatius church
Campus
Mikayla's favorite part of campus is the St. Ignatius Church. Here, students can pray before exams or just when they feel like they need to. For freshmen, this is where the Freshman Mass is held during USF's Orientation Week. You are welcome to bring your family members or even friends who don't attend USF. This is also where USF's Graduation Ceremony happens. St. ignatius church on palm sunday

Mikayla gives you an inside look at St. Ignatius Church, which is right on campus! St. Ignatius Parish is a parish in San Francisco that welcomes everyone. Mass is celebrated here on weekdays at 8AM and 12PM and every Sunday (8AM, 9:30AM, 11AM, 5PM). Meet sergio: a usf freshman and international student
Mikayla introduces you to Sergio, a USF Freshman, and International student. He came to San Francisco all the way from Dubai. International students are very much welcomed at USF and there are actually a lot more International Students at USF than you would think. San Francisco is a beautiful city, but like Sergio mentioned, it is also a very expensive city to live in.

Gleeson library: entrance and 1st floor (art exhibit)
Campus
Gleeson Library is where you can find most students studying all the time. The first floor has the Atrium, which is a study area where you have to be COMPLETELY silent, computers that students can use, and a little art exhibit that occasionally changes themes. If you go all the way through the little art exhibit, you can go downstairs for tutoring sessions which you can book online.

Many students choose to study on the second floor at Gleeson Library because it has private study rooms, study cubicles, desks, whiteboards, and monitors. It's a great studying area since it's very quiet which makes it easier to focus. Students also help other students study and sometimes rent out the private study rooms during busy finals week.

The undercaf during the day
Food
Students call this area the "UnderCaf" since it is literally downstairs, under the cafeteria. Here, students can study, grab a coffee or a snack, and buy USF gear or supplies from the USF Bookstore. All of this is located at the University Center. The Campus Activities Board (CAB) also hosts free karaoke nights here... anyone can participate and everyone is invited!

Undercaf late at night
Food
The undercaf closes at midnight on weekdays, so when students are in the mood for a midnight snack, this is where they go! There is always hot food served late at night for students who eat dinner really late.The undercaf also has all sorts of snacks from candy bars to hot chocolate mix to lunchables and more! Karaoke nights usually happen on Thursday nights and are usually packed with students singing and eating together.
