Hi, My name is Kylia Ford. I am a sophomore at the King's College. I am majoring in politics, philosophy and economics with a minor and theology a little bit about our school Is its location were located at the intersection of Broadway and Wall Street. It's a pretty prime location that we are in the amazing New York City s Oh, yeah, yeah, So you're probably hearing a lot of colleges talk about how unique they are, but it kings. It's really true. We are pretty unique institution through our mission statement, location and particularly the staffing faculty relationships that we have with students. So all of our classes are pretty small, like the biggest class that you'll have 1 25 students, one professor. But if you reach your upper level classes, you often end up having like five oclock. So it allows you to really make one on one relationship relationship with your professor and really, like excel in the cost because they're not really just worried about how you're doing at school. I'm like, what your grades, your life. But they also hear a lot about your edification and, like, how can you be a better person. When I was looking for a college, I really wanted Greek life, and I wanted that crushing experience on, like, pledging a house, and I think I would be really cool. Unfortunately, I did not go to a school that has drink life, but here it Kingsley of something pretty close. We have a house system. I am in the house of Susan B. Anthony. Um, feminist icon, like a really cool suffered jet on it has the same ideas of like coming together with an instant community for like a large group of women houses. Susan B. Anthony has about 40 to 50 women at it at any given time on day one. Also really cool thing about the house system is kind of like in Harry Potter. We're all in competition with each other throughout the year, so we have things like the great race, where usually all the freshmen and first years, who just joined the house, we take them on a big scavenger hunt throughout the city, and it's like a schoolwide thing. We run from place to place way also G p. A competition. So whichever houses the highest GPS, you know, semester also gets awards. I'm like a drama competition. And like art competition s O. The houses are always kind of interacting with each other and a really cool way. So Kings is a Christian, that liberal arts school on Do we have a TPE core? PPE stands for politics, philosophy and economics. Way kind of really like the interception of these three disciplines because they kind of cover everything you need to know about solving a problem like so. Politics and how you order society influences every single this in the united make and every action that happens throughout the day. Philosophy is when you have to do a little bit more intersection, you have to think about yourself and how you can interact with the political society and then economics. We know the realities of the world that there's one language that every single person speaks and that's currency. So we think our students to be well versed and how to apply those and have to apply economics in those two other disciplines so they can holistically solved problem. One of my favorite parts about things is our business casual, so if you ever come to our campus, you might notice all of our students are a little bit more professional. Eso business casual for ladies usually just means not James s. So it's pretty chill. Uh, one of the main reasons that we do this is it kind of purity towards a professional environment. So, like when you're going from, say, your internship to class, you don't have to change your clothes like, maintain that professional look. One of my personal favorite things about it is it changes your mindset. So when you get ready in the morning and you go and you put on your heels and you pick out like your sweater for the day, you get that business casual outfit down. It kind of makes you think I'm getting prepared for the day and like, you kind of have to put yourself in that professional state of mind. One of my favorite things when I came to the city was there's nothing that feels better than walking down Wall Street. Hearing your heels Clack knowing that you'd like prepared for the day I met. You're gonna crush it. Can we just you guys, for
