Hi, my name's Devin, and I'm going to share a few reasons why join the Dairy Management program here at SUNY Morrisville right off the bat. I chose SUNY Morrisville for small town feel. I came from a super small town in Delaware county New York and I felt that coming to a college at that same atmosphere would make me feel more comfortable and be more successful. I also chose to come to SUNY Morrisville for the incredible staff that Seymour still has. The staff really makes you feel like you're at home. Staff members really take the time to get to know you on your strengths and your weaknesses so that they can tailor the education to you and make you more successful student. I chose to be more still for the facilities like the one that I'm in right now. I'm in the SUNY Morrisville dairy complex with 130 milking dairy cows. Will presents some of my favorite classes that I've taken are my dairy nutrition courses that I've taken and my instructional support assistant courses that I've taken throughout my time here at SUNY Morrisville, I've been an instructional support assistant for soils class agricultural lending class. I was a student heard manager for our dairy farm practical course for our dairy students. One of the cool things about our dairy program is you start right off the bat here at SUNY Morrisville, coming in, milking our cows, feeding our calves. And then throughout the course you learn the more management style stuff like how to manage people, how to manage your time on the farm. My advice to freshmen coming into college don't just stick to the people that, you know, maybe coming into college, don't stick to the little group that you're gonna form, um really go out there and meet new people, um, and have fun. So that's a couple of reasons why I chose SUNY Morrisville and I hope that I see
