Hey everyone, my name is heather and I am currently a senior in the business administration program here at SUNY Morrisville. Today I'm going to share with you why I chose to be a mustang. So let's get started. I am from Akron new york, which is about 30 minutes outside of Buffalo. So being that close to Buffalo, I'm obviously a big Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fan. Currently I live off campus in the neighboring town of Cazenovia New York, which is about 15 minute drive to Morrisville. So I'm a senior in business administration program, like I mentioned earlier and I'm also a member of the field hockey team. Since I'm a member of the field hockey team, I'm going to be staying an extra semester in fall 2021 so I can play my senior season. So I like to be called a super senior. I applied to SUNY Morrisville partly because I was recruited to play field hockey for the school and also after visiting the campus and having such a positive experience when I came to visit, the atmosphere was a small town community feel and Akron where I'm from is a super small town. So it felt like I was at home but having the distance of being away at school. So that is one aspect I really liked about it when I came and visited. Also, everybody I met when I came on, my visit to the campus was super friendly and helpful and always asked how we were and if we needed help finding any locations. I also met with a couple professors from my major and they were all super nice and willing to help and work around. Um me being a student athlete at the school, so the professors here were super nice and really was one of the selling points of why I chose to apply to Morrisville of rural town and it's about 30 minutes outside of Syracuse new york, so it's far enough away from the city atmosphere um but also close enough. So if you want to go travel somewhere on the weekends you can beautiful scenery and just like the location of the campus was also a major selling point to me too. Out of all the classes I've taken here at Morrisville, I have to say my favorites are marketing and sports management. I hope to get a career in sports marketing management somewhere along the lines of that after I graduate. So those have definitely been my favorite classes here. Close second or third would have to be advertising. Um Just anything marketing related or being creative um has definitely been one of my favorite classes. Overall my experience that Morrisville has been super positive and I have met so many amazing people. I highly recommend checking out our website at Morrisville out you to you so you can take a virtual tour of our campus or just come and visit us too, so you can get the full experience.
