Hello, everyone. My name is Catalina Castillo Ribadeneira. I'm from Colombia. E started chemical engineering, Bogota in the capital, work for more than four years there before the full time and be a program. And it's a gallon. I worked in the manufacturing industry in Germany for four years as a project engineer and head of quality. Since I wanted to change the industry and explore new German speaking countries, um, I decided to join the highest key program with them full time MBA at ST Gallen University. Um, so far, I have already taken very insightful classes like international management, global business, environment, accounting and capital markets. Talking more about the soft skills related classes and that I have taken so far are career strategy, a leadership, and how did it paid among others? And those are the the causes that I found more interesting and useful. And that is actually one thing that I liked, uh, that I would like to headline about Sang Alan or this program is that not only hard skills but also solve skills are simultaneously developed. So that's a vory positive. Find off the off the program. A dozen gallery university. Um, so I would like to tell you also about, like a normal weekday in Catalina's MBA adventure. How does it look like since I'm living in Zurich? I have to wake up a bit earlier than my colleagues And just to catch up the train. Usually classes, star classes start at around 9. 39 15 or later, and they go until 5. 30 PM or something now, right now, do you take a row? Now? The class or the whole group were in total 45 students, uh, was split into two groups. So we have core hoard a year in Corby or one or two. And actually, they also try to change the groups we can meet or colleagues better. So what? What I found, like, really positive. Um, but it's also really rare that you have the entire the classes you have to take into account that you also have to prepare classes. So you need time for for the preparation, depending on how long the class is going to be. So yeah, take that into account. Ah, ball, go work like balance. Uh, the program is very demanding and challenging. Um, there are some weeks where you you will feel a bit overwhelmed because of the amount of work that you have a close preparation assignments, even exams. So sometimes we do have classes on Saturdays on, and but it's not that often, right? So that leads that you Sometimes you will have less time or just deliver for your private life. Um, one of my biggest challenges is delivering a good performance in a very short period of time. Um, so, yeah, the you need to find out, like how it works, what works for you, But doesn't just thio try to get our routine assed fast as possible. Um, there is a to or like an environment of the Silla booed. The syllabus is called Starting. It is a tool, although MBA program, Um, And on this platform, which, in my opinion, should be a be improved. Um, because it's not that user friendly. You can find all information about the classes about the contents, about slides, videos, everything you need to know also assignments, uh, grades. So that second environment tried to get a familiar with it as soon as possible. And like I said, there are some small points that should be improved so we'll see how it goes. But so far it works pretty well. So very positive side of the MBA is you get to know your MBA colleagues better while building your network and maybe what else starting new friendship with some of them. So, uh, um, I realized the end being environment because it's very international on very open for university. So we do have I mean, I think this year we have, like, around 70 27 nationalities, So that's kind of that's a lot, actually. So just take advantage of that. Just try to meet people, try Thio and no new point of view, new perspectives. And that's also part of the experience of being an N b a. That in my Alino uh, has broadened my horizons. So e I used to live in Germany, but and I it also helped me thio just, uh, just thio catch all the perspectives German perspective. But here is like you have like, ah, lot more. So be aware of that. Take advantage of that old that I can tell you and like in the end, try Thio take the most out of these intense experience, uh, take advantage of the profound knowledge and experience of the professors. Allow the benefits, uh, that you have because you're has gay or, uh, in singling university student. So expand your network. Three University has, um, like good facilities. Also a gym. Extracurricular activities started. Just, uh, ask your MBA. So, yeah, if you have, like, interesting. Cameron, I don't know yoga or you like to go to the gym, so I just go together and I know the way Thio. Just build your network and get to know your colleagues better. So that wasn't for today.
